Wow! What a long day it's been! Our flight from Detroit to London was pretty nasty as we had two screaming toddlers right next to us so we got absolutely NO sleep on the plane. Ugh! I couldn't wait to get off that plane!
Then we left Heathrow Airport with our driver Gary. He drove us to London City Airport and he pointed out all the cool London sites. My favorite thing to see was the House of Parliment and the London Tower. The tower is where King Henry VIII kept his wife Anne Boelyn (and other people who made him mad) before he executed them. Wow! Glad I didn't live in that time period!
We then left London on a VERY bumpy flight to Dublin. We got here and checked into our hotel. It's a nice little hotel right down in the Temple Bar area. We saw the Book of Kells at Trinity College, had dinner at a little Italian restaurant, went window shopping on Grafton Street and then came back and collapsed. We are planning on getting a great night sleep so we have energy to do the On and Off Bus around Dublin tomorrow. Check back tomorrow for more updates.
